Then slide the cover back down and toward the key-ring loop section until it becomes loose and then slides off. Then, remove the cover to reveal the hidden key blade. Note: Some older Volvo models use a different type of battery that is the CR2025. CR2025 batteries are 7 tenths of millimeters thinner than a CR2032 battery, so you will need to be extra careful when placing the battery of your replacement.
